What a great find and capture that is a perfect fit for this contest. The perfectionist in me wants a perfect pot, but the vintage photographer in me loves the imperfection that a clay pot can still hold beauty laced with history.
There is a story to tell here.

I love this photo and agree, the pot has so much character. I have a Mediterranean style home with many pots that are deteriorating and I can't bring myself to replace them until they totally collapse. I love the lighting and framing of this photo.

I like the half brick sitting next to it maybe the one that broke it in the first place. A simple but interesting image in nice light good focus and clear crisp detail.
