You are right and you capture the charm here in this photo. I love the look of all the ancient textures and subtle colourings. It almost appears as a little throne of sorts.

This picture appears to be taken in the middle East, although I know it wasn't. The colors and the textures are from that part of the world. Great choice for the contest.

Very cool. How old? The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of the old pottery in wall is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balanced and eye interesting to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

Very nice!

The soft varied tones of the monochromatic scheme really works.

There are so many textures that make the image appealing.

The horizontal and vertical lines are nicely offset by the curves of the broken pottery.
