A beautiful picture of the Black Eyed Susan, with one petal curled up while all the others are cured down & the one green leaf glowing under the yellow Gold petal as the stand out in three dimensions from the dark background that matches the flower's centre. Artistic composition, framing & lighting with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.

A simple piece yet it attracts attention. Glad a leaf was included during the shoot coz it
really gives a spice. Soft, appealing, beautiful color and it stand out against the black background. The lighting is great as well as composition. Good luck!

I agree with the viewpoint of the photographer, adding the leaf gives spice and extra color to a lovely colored flower on dark background. I love this style of photos. You must focus on the center of attention as the photographer wants you too. You are lead by his artistic eye. WELL DONE

You are right one flower is easy to centre and with this large black space works quite well with the bright light and vibrant colours of the flower. I like the stem being left in but not the loan leaf it does not work for me but that's only my opinion.
Good focus and sharp detail and well framed.

Very nice shot. I like that you blacked out the background, to make the yellow flower really pop. And the one leaf to the side adds some additional contrast to the photo. Focus is sharp, nice clarity and nice lighting. Thanks for sharing.
