A Great stop action picture of the Yellow Legged Gull /Larus Michahellis voicing it's opinion at you as it stands on one leg in the shallows the other up ready to step forward.. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.

Probably trying to tell you, in gull language, that it wants something to eat! ha Since you're not giving it anything it got a bit angry! What a neat shot of its beak wide open and screaching gull insults at you. Excellent photo and thanks for sharing it.

MY MY lil seagull what a big mouth you have and I am sure LOUD screech. I think he is in kung fu pose and you are about to get a wet claw. LOL. What a marvelous capture. The depth of the mouth/maw is intimidating. He has attitude and is keeping his eye on YOU> WELL done. marvelous open mough catch!

How funny! Did it have babies nearby? I have seen a lot of seagulls but never seen an angry one. And there is no doubt that it is angry. Imagine being attacked by a seagull. Seriously!!!!

OMG! This gull looks possessed! The red around it's mouth and beak area is what makes me think that way.This is actually a great shot Lori and I don't think that there are any worries about the impact this has.I also like the way that you composed this shot.Your execution of this shot is excellent.These guys are mean,I've been hit a couple of times when I lived in Chicago.They come near me here,I'm gone.If I had been lucky enough to capture a shot like this,I would have named it Satan's Minion.Great job Lori~

It is not please with you for some reason but you have captured a good image of it shouting nothing new for a seagull
Good focus and nice crisp detail, the light is just right to bring out some good clear colours. The ripple on the water just breaks up the frame nicely.
