Cool statue. Focus is good. Your composition works well with the dark lines creating a natural frame. The yellow/golden light is kind of swallowing up the sculpture -you have to really look to get them to stand out.

What a great nice gorgeous lovely shot.Amazing artistic work and scene.Beautiful sculpture. Very nice architecture work.Strong person head hands body and legs and angle and action,child all the details,yellow b/g are gorgeous and great.Color and light balance are great.I like this talent work and scene.Focus color and all are excellent.Great job.Well Done.Thanks.

This is a solid story for the entry into the contest, fits perfectly - definitely about balance. The focus is solid and the exposure is solid. Here's where you get the zing from me - Your image gets lost in the frame. The yellow lighting and the golden hue of the sculpture are too similar. I bet it looks fantastic under these lights in the lobby. If you hadn't said spinning child I would not have known. I do get that the image is about balance so that's a plus. Good luck in the contest and thanks for sharing.

I agree with your own critique of the work with everything but the boxed in sense/frame as you call it. My minds eye sees the sculpture without the lines on either side that creates a deeper sense of zeo gravity as if they could fly. This sculpture can stand alone and so could your photo. I like everything else you did with the piece

I think this is a very nice find for the contest. It speaks of "balance" in a concrete and metaphorical way. Nice level shot. I do find the focus on the two people a bit soft -- but this could have everything to do with shooting through that (probably thick) glass pane.

I love the simplicity of the design of the sculpture and the way you framed with the black frame of the case. The lines are great, the focus is perfect.
It's tough to pull off a shot when the main colors of the background and the subject are close the same, what makes this "shine" is the shine on the child.
