There are times when envy is appropriate. This is one of those times. I truly envy your great talent. Hands are difficult and putting the face together is truly creative. The dark background and shadows truly make this. You can tell the the woman is drinking in the touch on her face, maybe a momentary surprise since the toucher is behind her. If surprised, it wasn't for long. And remember the joy or the toucher. Which is better, being touched or touching the beloved?

Such incredible talent. I would swear I was looking at a photograph. It blows my mind that you do this with pencil. If you ever do any tutorials I will be your first student. God has gifted you with a supernatural ability to express His love through your art.

Linda, I am all out of 6's but this certainly deserves it. Beautiful and emotive. I love the dramatic interplay of light and shadow. The young woman's facial expression shows her response to the man's gentle touch. Simply stunning with great visual impact. So well done. ~Alveria

A beautiful & brilliant picture of a young lady her face to the light , her eyes closed & her face being cradled within the loving hands of a man! Created with expert & very skilful draftsmanship to create this life like three dimensional image.
Thanks for sharing it with us.

This is amazing! I never would've guessed this is a pencil drawing. It's so realistic and the setting is so serene. Lighting on it is stunning too, terrific job!!

Hey Forever 1 roses, I humbly thank you for this fantastic review.
Comment from Raoul D'Harmental

Dear Linda,

This is a really 'touching' image in which I can sense the lightness of the touch. I recall reading a report some while back about the orphans of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster who had grown up without the sense of touch in orphanages and their reaction to the sensation after a long time being deprived of it. It was a harrowing read and reinforces the importance of a hug. Thanks for sharing this! R
