Wow~what a successful effort here! You have frozen the motion of the bird, and have framed a lovely photo with the beautiful flower as his target. Your DOF is perfect and compliments the detail in your bird. The coloration is my favorite part, as you have captured the lavenders in both the flowers and the bird beautifully without any oversaturation to distract from the nature of this take. I wonder how much you experimented with your framing (which you probably had no time to do) and cropping? I would like to see more space on the right side of the frame behind the bird if possible, without taking away from the beauty of the flower. I feel that the bird is the main subject, but is competing with the lovely flower. Congratulations on this one! Sincerely, NR
