What a wonderful pencil drawing. You seemed to have captured the essence of innocence with your granddaughter.
The thumb sucking and the upward gaze (toward her Mom?) is priceless.
I like the shadow on the arm, perhaps due to sunlight coming through a window pane. That adds interest.
The dress has a flowery pattern that a little girl would wear with internal pride.
Lots of leading lines from the foreground to the girl, keeps the views eyes focused on the subject. Nice.
Overall, perhaps one of your best efforts!!

Drawing hands is very difficult and you did this wonderfully. The lighting and shadows are perfect. It's so real that I want to know what she is looking at so intently.
