What a beautiful flower with gorgeous color. Nice contrast with the black background. Great clarity rendering detail and texture. My only suggestion would be not to crop off the petals on the right hand side. It looks like the petals should be there, probably because the flower is facing right. Love the purple color against the white, great initial impact. ~Alveria

This is a lovely photograph of the lily. I think it's colors are stunning ---and I really like how the purple tickles the white edges of the blossom. However, I find the focusing a tad soft. Also, I am left wanting to view the enter blossom... and am mystified why the cropping was too close on the right.

I do like the up close look of this lovely flower and your title is clever and fun.
I was on the fence about the petals being cut off on the right as it seems off balance to my eyes.
You handled white balance well enough but would like to see that more controlled.
It is a nice capture with fine focus Miss Paula.

This is indeed a beautiful Lily and with the most amazing colors. It is lovely with the dark background for the flower to stand out well, but you have left behind some distracting shadows around the edges, and especially at the bottom of the photo. I also think this contest said no mixed media.
The photo is however nice and sharp showing really clear and well defined details both in the petals and the stamens, and also the exposure is spot on.
When it comes to the composition, I believe it could have been a lot better. I don't mind in general that some of the petals are cut off by the frame, but it should have been done on the left side and not the right since the stamens are pointing to the right. The way you have framed this makes the composition quite unbalanced. It is stunning flower and a good quality shot, but both the background and also the composition need adjustments.
