I love 7of9 :) I knew it was her before I saw the title or the Borg ship, so well done on capturing her likeness.
I like the way you have done her hair and your shading is very well done too, I also like the tonal changes and the way she is emerging from the darkness. I really like the way you made the white negative space around the image, almost like she is coming through a hole into space. The only thing I could suggest to change/work on is that the perspective of the cube seems a bit off somehow but overall its great.
Thank you for sharing, I have not tried silver point before and I am now looking forward to buying supplies and giving it a go.

Subdued lighting but seductive details.
An impressive artwork rendition. Monochromatic creation with excellent strokes & textures. Good compositional style. Great overall impact! Thanks for sharing...

Seven of Nine. You got her! Great likeness, I knew right off! I like your placement of the Borg vessel and Voyager. The darkness behind her sets her off for more dimension. Very nice job.

I cannot comment on the type of media used. I get frustrated that an obvious wonderful piece of art does not show well on this site. I am a Star Trek, Next Generation fan. This depicts so much of the emotions and interest of the Borg to me. A lovely rendition of the woman(sorry forgot her name) Well done, creative and pleasing

I too am a Trekkie and can relate to this Borg painting. It's a wonderful rendition James, I was instantly drawn to it. You have the Borg cube there, her features are Borg the spaceship is there....full of story and the main focus is on her. WONDERFUL...I love it.

Wish I had a 6 for you, James, I do not remember your ever posting this one, but it does appear to have a greenish hue about it, so wow, it certainly adds to the overall rendering. I am sure your original is a spectacular piece! As usual your figurative rendering is faultless, excellent pose, love her expression, the work on the machinery is stellar, great three dimensional feel to them, and definitely the feel and look of metal. Always extraordinary! jean

I think that most artists that live with their imagination put down as a drawing is commendable! This drawing made me inspired t. a whole new idea to draw fantasy pictures with a sort of misty subject. Thanks! I really like this!
