I use a Canon EF-S 60 mm 1:1 macro lens.

Clear images of close ups is a little tricky.
For me, I use a tripod, remote shutter release, mirror lock up, and hope it is a very still day. Movement really kills macro clarity. Post processing helps a bit also.
