I like the slightly different composition and pov in this one. Nice lighting with clear details. I love the reflection in the eye.

The difficulty of capturing such an animal I can appreciate. The lime green color is uniform maintaining the feel of the frog in its natural habitat. The detail of the frogs skin is astounding. Upon a closer view of his eye, the clarity reveals he was not completely in his natural habitat. However, this photo has nature written all over it. Great shot.

What a wonderful way to fill a frame. Perfect focus and exposure. He looks like he just wants you to go away and let him get back to his nap. Thank you for sharing this really fun image.

Congratulations on this win Allan. When I was going through voting and I came to this I said "oh crap" knowing if this didn't win it certainly should!

Love the composition of the shot, with the one eye and the foot, really give a nice action feeling like he is just hanging in there or sneaking up on you and taking a peek!!

Very nice shooting!!

Thanks Shirley, this one is going to the juried show this fall. I wanted to create something different for the macro category.
Based on the reviews I feel it worked to a degree.
