A beautiful picture of the Western Tiger Swallow Tail Butterfly captured in a sunbeam that is lighting up it's beautiful wings so you can see the patterns on the wings to best advantage. Beautiful composition framing & lighting Taken with superb camera techniques with razor sharp focus.

A first rate shot with great colors and very fine details in the butterfly. The composition is nice but I might consider taking a little off the top (which reminds me that I have to go to the barbers tomorrow). Best of luck in the contest.

This is quite alluring all due not only to the subject matter, but your colour palette punches this image out...yellow and green are strong colours together.

I see you have used my beloved square format and that helps to strengthen the image by holding our eyes within the perfect equidistant sided walls! As far as the macro handling goes this is sharp and all details are clearly visible, you have done a great job. I know how difficult it is to shoot these rapidly moving butterflies, they never stay still. Your shutter speed is excellent, no blur, sharp....beautiful.

An excellent entry into the contest. It is vibrant, well shot, well seen , great format and will be hard to beat.
