I love your picture.
Great capture, and you gave it very funny explanation: I believe it and laugh.
Water and rocks look great. It seems to me, that it was around sunset time. I mean, that I love that this picture is so full of warm soft light.

I did not quite understand your explanation: why did you mentioned another specie of seagulls and the fact, that they can be seen in the sea shore city.
Did you post more than one picture? Does the story continue?

I just mentioned that in French, we differentiate TWO seagull species: mouette and goeland (see on Google)

I love the title. An apt title for this capture. The gulls have very goid detail. The contrast between the two types is evident. Very nice wave movement in the background.. Very nice shot.

I normally would not review a shot of two birds, but this one has something special to it. You also show my favorite complementary color scheme of subtle orange and blue, so it compels me to look closer! I do like the birds on the same plane-it is very pleasing because of the up close and personal shot and the flatness of the rock along with the point of view. The profiles are quite effective! I live in Florida (inland) and don't think I have ever seen a baby seagull! Interesting and nicely done! jean

I like the title! You've captured the feeling of this little one - he seems to have his shoulders hunched in resignation as to what his Mum will say. I like the angle you used for this.

Great photograph and an interesting history of the birds to go along with it. I don't think I have ever seen a baby seagull and certainly not this species. Cute title too. Your shot is well done, clarity, lighting, framing and color all perfect in my book.

A beautiful picture of the Yellow Legged Gull / Larus michaellis with it's "sulking teenager" behind it standing on the rocks looking out for movement in the water to indicate the next meal swimming past, though looking again at her, she looks as if she has just eaten & is day dreaming. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting with superb camera techniques with sharp focus. (We call the Red legged Gull a Mediterranean Gull / Larus melancephalus)
