Wow...what a gorgeous piece of artwork! At first glance it appears to be a black and white photograph. A fantastic job using pencil to create such a beautiful vision of Marilyn Monroe. The details are great, especially like how lifelike her facial expression is in her eyes and mouth and the way her hand gently rests on her face. The rug did add a good texture. Thank you for sharing your work!

Linda, as always, excellent. In fact we need new adjectives for your work! Shadings and shadows and your dark background is one of your strong suits. The subtle shading on the sheepskin makes it immediately recognizable for what it is.
Every young male was in love with Marilyn. I was no exception. The drawing brings back memories. I can almost hear her sing, "Happy Birthday, Mr. President."

Wow this is exquisite and I love the way the skin blends into the soft rug as though she's a human shaped ruffle albeit a very alluring one :) The title is very apt with the suggestive finger to the lip and the corsetted gown. Thanks for sharing this beautiful piece. R
