Bird?
A cute & candid capture!! LoL!
A great initial impact. Nice interesting subject. Excellent POV & DOF...Harmonious colors. Impressive lighting, focusing & framing. I think the upper grill is quite distracting.
Just a friendly opinion, though...
Nice foreground.
Thanks for sharing...

A engaging expression on face of "Blue Boy!" Gentle! "I love you," he says- "but where are my hands? Are they missing? (a pensive smile?)
Centered and beautifully shaded - in perfect 1/2 of face and photo - Harmony!
"Blue Boy" - photo centered and turned to the right - (hands) folded. "love the cap!"
Colors: Blue, "original" blue in "Blue Boy" pants - a soft blue in blend with upper gray blue bricks in window and blue flowers in lower center -
Focus: Great clarity on lines and edges. Great clarity in color - colors of blend and contrast - of grays, rust, blue, yellow, and "stand-out" bright blue.
Lines and squares: lines in vertical design and horizontal design - an "old" scene of design! "I'm waiting!"
Framing: (right side centered) - Budding tree of early Spring - (lower third) Flowers in bloom of early Spring in hues of contrasts and beauty! A great design!
An old home an old garden - "Blue Boy" sits and and watches - watches you and me.
"Help," he says, "Where are my hands! Hold me, but I cannot hold you. I'm here for you - forever!"

Thank you for sharing this beautiful and touching photo! Best wishes in contest!

A very nice shot with fine colors. The composition is excellent and I can't take my eyes off the plotting of the fibonacci sequence in the upper left.

This is an interesting image and creatively shot. Good story to the image as well. Focus is crisp on your subject.

The reason for my one star deduction.

1. The image is too bright. There are a number of areas over exposed and "blown out". Toning down the highlights would really help here.

2. Composition is not as pleasing or creative as it could be, with your subject centered in the frame that way.

Thank you!

Thanks for you comments. I tried off centering the statue but it just didn't look right to me - too much empty space.
