Mary,
A beautiful & very interesting picture of the Sugarloaf showing the layers of sedimentation & the "Riverulets" where water runs off after rain with the surrounding tree topped cliffs framing it. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting with superb camera techniques with razor sharp focus. (Did you see our Sugarloaf mountains(Big & Little) in Co. Wicklow? They are the cones of two long extinct Volcanoes just south of Dublin?)

Thanks Susan, we missed your Sugarloaf mountains we stayed at Malahide when visiting Dublin and went to Howth. Also visited Kilcoran, Limerick, Slea Drive Dingle Peninsular, Blarney and Foyle. Spent a few days touring Northern Ireland also. Cheers Mary

    Mary,
You certaily did a good tour of the island. You'd have seen the Sugarloaf from Howth but unless someone told you which of the hills/mountains on the other side of the bay was the Sugarloaf you'd not know.

Sure looks like an interesting and fun place to see and visit. Like the focus, blue sky, frame and sunny day to show the 280 million year details. Good job.
