This is a very interesting and fun piece of digital art. Nicely composed and framed with good clarity and colour. The colour against the b&w background pop nicely.

The reason for my 1 star deduction is due to the category chosen for the work. There comes a point when so much work is done from multiple images, that the resulting work ceases to be a "photograph" and instead becomes "digital art".

Thank you for sharing! :)

Stephen, with all respect, but you are wrong. The site is setting the rules to how we can post our work, and as long as it is our own photos we are not permitted by those rules to call what I have done digital art. I would actually be told to use the right category by members on this site if I posted this as a digital creation.

I suggest that you read the rules and also what sort of work is supported by this site before you start to use your own for deducting stars.

Since you are new, I think it would be a good idea. I have by the way never had the chance to welcome you to FAR. I hope you will enjoy it just as much as I have done over all the years I have been a member.

Annie, although this image is a bit of fun it still merits serious consideration in its own right. The Tam o' Shanter sitting at a jaunty angle adds greatly to a very clear eye and features of the raven. I like this! Mike

Very nice creation of this raven in a tam-o'shanter :)) I have always liked that kind of hat. Love the background of the Edinburg castle wall. Nicely done!

Hahaha! Kvinne! Tusen Takk for the big smile and laugh as I opened up my Mail to find this Raven! Cara! I LOVE Ravens and have only been able to find a few here.
I love the Tam o' Shanter cap and the background!
Nice eye clarity with bonus catch light and nice work on shooting an all black bird. =)
You always know how to make me laugh at the end of a long work day.
I LOVE this. Please Add this to my list and email!
You are the BEST!

An Amusing picture of the Raven a member of the Crow Family & one of the most intelligent of birds. It's looks as if it's giving you a wink from under the Tam O'Shanter made up with the Scarlet Royal Stuart Tartan. Amusing composition, beautiful lighting & framing with superb camera & editing techniques with sharp focus.
