A great picture of your Globe Artichokes in Bloom stretching their heads up to the sun where no doubt they will attract many a bee, just like their cousin the Scot's Globe Thistle. Beautiful composition with the clear blue sky providing the perfect backdrop & the sun the lighting. Taken with superb camera techniques with razor sharp focus & thorns!

I never knew an Artichoke plant looked like this. If you had not told me I would have guessed it was some kind of thistle. LOL My first reaction when seeing this photo, was that the plant is really standing out well against the blue sky, and that it needs to be cropped a bit at the bottom.
Your photo is also sharp and it is nothing wrong with the exposure either. It is a well taken photo with a very good DOF, and now I know how an Artichoke plant look like.

Wild looking plants ..do they eat people? Wink. The clarity is great. The angle of the shot of the flowers is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balance and eye interesting to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.
