An exceptional image with stunning detail and great focus. One of the best herring close ups I've seen. The background is very appealing. I'll have to prioritize looking at your images as I seem to run out of sixes before I get to yours. Michiganmike certainly has some stiff competition with you.

Very good timing, in focus this photograph is crisp and clean. Well cropped, use of the rule of thirds. There is a story in this birds intense stare and the color is natural. Though blurred there are leading lines bringing the eye down from the top of the frame to rest on the bird. Nicely captured!
