Well I guess the fall colors are just about to arrive here, but the greens, yellows and touch of orange along with the awesome reflections in the water make this simply magical.
The glass like water is superb.
Nice capture and fine control on exposure.

Thank you. The peak colors won't arrive till next week but I was under a deadline for this contest. I hope to take more next week so I have something as a stock file.

The fall colors are not so strong in this photo, but truly lovely, but for me this photo is first and foremost about reflections. They look great in this shot and you have pictured them so well in the mirror like little pond.
Your photo is also crisp and clear with sharp details in the trees, and the exposure is very good.
The photo is also nicely cropped and it is a fine balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

The fall colors are not so strong in this photo, but truly lovely, but for me this photo is first and foremost about reflections. They look great in this shot and you have pictured them so well in the mirror like little pond.

Thank you. I was working on the deadline for the contest so the leaves are not at their peak color yet. Also the weather forecast is not cooperating for waiting longer to get out and get a better shot. I hope to get out within the next 2 weeks to get the peak colors so I have some stock photos. :)

Good idea to take some shots when the colors are at their best, because it is bound to be contests like this turning up again. You are more than welcome for the review.

We didn't seem to get much fall colors this year, lucky you that you have some. I love the reflection of the fall colors on the water. Great entry for the contest, good luck. Clear focus, good composition, leading my eye through the reflection and into the forest. thanks so much for sharing.

Thank you. It is still early here for full color even up in our mountains where this was taken. I don't expect to see full vibrant color for another week or two. I think the deadline for this contest was a bit too early unless you have pictures from last fall or take photos of pumpkins and selected leaves with color in a still life.

I am almost jealous. We don't have a fall colors in southern Ohio yet. I have nothing to enter into the contest. Excellent reflection on the water. This doubles the beauty of the photograph. Thank you. This is really early for the changing leaves so they are not as brilliant as they will be next week. I had to take something and the weather was cooperating so I took this yesterday. I would have liked to wait but the deadline was looming and we will be getting rain by the weekend.
