Thank you Dick. Yes the split in the title is intentional. It is a play on words. Here in my part of Pennsylvania people actually pronounce the word Dandi lion. LOL. It is a regional language thing.

Out of an ordinary dandelion you have actually created a silver flower which in its appearance is quite striking. I especially like the fine textures in the background, and also the limited pallet. The flower is also standing out well against the background.
Without knowing I also feel that your original photo was quite sharp and each petal is really well defined. I like the shading of it as well with the fine contrasts between the high lights and the darker areas.
The photo is also nicely cropped down to a square format, and then of course a centered placement of the flower is the best. I think this is a lovely, creative and original flower image, and both well taken and well edited.

First, excellent job of postprocessing. A dandelion really is a very beautiful flower. Most people considered a weed but , a huge field of yellow dandelions I find absolutely gorgeous. Very good clarity on the photograph excellent post processing skills thank you so much for sharing
