A great picture of the deep pink flowers with a Hover Fly approaching them, it's big red eyes giving it away as a fly. The flowers look a little like a type of thorn less Thistle but sadly I could not find one to match when I looked up Flowers of Australia. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.

Thanks Susan, yes not sure myself the foilage was silvery in colour very similar to thistles. Cheers Mary

This is a wonderfully coloured sight for sore eyes this morning. I like the sharp focus in the foreground which brings the colours alive against the blurred background into which the bee seems to blend. Thanks for sharing this . R
