I like the moody but glowing sky with beautiful contrasting colour, you have captured the movement of the clouds well, the soft glow highlights the landscape and leads the eye in.

This is truly beautiful. As a painter myself I can note the challenge of both the blending at the edges and yet leaving the full impact of the colors. I'd like to know what "mixed media" used and how it was applied.

I paint the basics in watercolours in 9"x12" watercolour paper. I put the image through PS and do a lot of manipulations on the colours, textures etc till I get the right kind of atmospheric effect.Frankly there is no fixed formula. You have to keep experimenting with all forms of painting till you get the right one.

I love the dramatic shy in this item and the wonderful light that is placed in a very promising way - after any storm the light will shine again , a great composition with a very powerful color combination - I love th harmony that Drama carries along due to the same color range in mountains and skt - I also love the luminous effect in this image - beautiful initial impact , excellent use of space
