Fantastic stop action Mary, great colors and light as well. The ocean is such an inviting cool blue and the movement in the frame makes for just the best composition. The focus solid with nice detail on your surfer and the action behind. Great shot. Thanks for sharing. Good Luck!

A very nice shot. The action is caught at its peak and the composition showing the windblown wave is excellent. I like the sharp detail in the surfer and board and the beautiful colors.

I wish I had a six for this stop action picture where the surfer seems to be moving as I watch her balancing expertly on her board as she crests the wave leaving a wake of spray behind her & her reflection on the wave in front of her. Artistic stop action composition, framing * lighting with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.

A very stunning capture a chance to get it right front of your lens and you took the moment - excellent composition, the surfer is at the perfect spot in your image to show the high waves at the let and the spume line he is creating

Your picture is genuine in color saturation, and exposure , well balanced, suggestion: might be need a tiny bit of straightening as your horizontal line is not parallel - that is easy to do

Super catch. Nice classic surfer picture. What I like the most is the way it conveys the motion. I can almost hear the water. I think you might have another pic. here. Try chroming for a close up on the surfer. See what you think. Great job.

Thanks James, competition wouldn't allow editing but I have got a few closer where I have cropped - there were a pod of dolphins surfing nearby with the surfers but couldn't get the two together :)
