Well captured with good focus, the image is clear, natural colors and tones, well exposed, nice POV with him coming toward you, natural surroundings, very well presented!

I hear mud baths are very good for the skin! Nice catch here. I love the way the browns all come together, the animal, the mud, really conveys the idea. Great job. Cheers, James.

You have indeed pictured this baby Rhino well and I like the way it is crawling out of the mud. It is actually rather cute still being a bit clumsy. What I like especially about this photo is the play of light and shadow and of course also how well the Rhino is standing out from the background.

Your photo is also so nice and sharp showing such clear and well defined details in the animal, and the exposure is perfect.

I do however think the composition could have been even better with a crop on the left side, since it is a bit too much negative space. Still this is an all together really lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

Thanks Annie, your positive feedback is encouraging. Was going to crop little tighter on left but decided I liked the water/mud. Happy holidays to you and your family :) Mary

My sentiments exactly. Nothing like a nice mud bath on a hot day. A very nice shot with excellent details and a beautiful color palette.

A wonderful picture of the Baby Rhino enjoying it's Mud bath both to cool off & to apply the mud that acts as a sun screen. Beautiful composition framing & lighting with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.
