Wish I have more stars. You have captured the essence of Marilyn. I am old enough to remember her movies and news stories about her acting career and her tempestuous personal life. The sepia tones of the work are terrific and gives her life. The eyes and her mouth are all Marilyn. The outer hairline seems to disappear into the background and gives her an angel like feeling. Great job!

Wow, this is so beautiful Linda. You have certainly accomplished your goal, with the softness that you have done with her hair, yet her features are clear and sharp. Really extremely lifelike :)

This is a really beautiful drawing of Marilyn, but looks very different from many of your other drawings. It actually looks like you have used a completely different technique, and you probably have to obtain the softness you were after. I especially like the way you have done the hair, and also the skin. It almost looks like it was of porcelain.

This time I would however have liked to see the fine details you are so know for in the eyes. They actually look a bit dark and lifeless. Perhaps they were done like this deliberately to emphasize the mystery around Marilyn as a person.

The portrait is well composed and the tight framing works well. It is a beautiful drawing and as always well crafted.

Another lovely drawing from Linda B! You were certainly successful in caturing the softness of Marilyn's face. However, you also got the cotton-candy quality of that signature hairstyle! Well done!!
