I love images from the mountains. I might have lifted the camera a tiny bit to get a bit more clearance over the peaks. The church 'tower'? draws the eye in and makes me want to go down and check it out.

Jack, I really like the lyrical feel of this image, it is a song, or a poem.

Nestled in the hills, hugged by green trees in full bloom with mountains further protecting your main focal point makes for a poetic view.

The only catch is I think your church may be overexposed and has turned into a white blob of paint. Does the church not have detail, like boards or bricks. You need to shoot in M mode for more creative leeway especially in situations like this where that church isn't going anywhere and you can monkey with exposure calibrations...try it, you will see the difference immediately and your photos will be different.

I love this photo, it is well seen, well taken, and from a very different POV.

I'm afraid for me there is too much valley and not enough church. The church seems like it is an afterthought. I don't know if you could have gotten a better point of view to get a closer picture or not. The hills and valley by themselves are nice. The composition lacks for me.

I think you have a nice keeper. The only change I only make is to clone out the power lines on the lower center. The are distracting. Not much, just a little. However, if they don't bother you, it is artists choice.

The photograph is beautiful. I love the sky and the mountain background. Where is it?

This is in the NC mountains, I just go riding and when I see something that appeals to me I got to take that picture, that's the fun part about just getting in your car and just go for a ride, you never know what you might see. JackJr.

Real quiet and quaint looking. Cute little church. The hills and trees are beautiful. Wish there was a bit more sky included. Good job. Look forward to seeing more.

A very nice discovery - not obvious to find out about - excellent position and view point showing the real hidden place of this church - I love the glowing white color they gave it standing so well out of all the greens

your picture is well composed, well framed , excellent in focus, contrast and genuine color saturation , a nice shot intriguing as it makes curious to know more about it - thanks for sharing

Very nicely composed with the church slightly off center. Despite the very whiteness of the church, you were able to maintain detail in the building. Technically, this is well done.

Initial impact: What a fantastic white in the midst of green
Creativity of presentation: placement of the "small" white church is breathtaking.
Color Harmony: eye-pleasing natural
Center of Interest: the image is sharp and clean. Great focus on all elements.
Technical Excellence: good framing

Well done and thanks for sharing.
