Veeery nice! That 'broken' edge and the mist add a sense of dynamics and make you feel the speed and power of the river. In my experience, the most challenging part when photographing waterfalls is to balance the highlights - the white water is very quickly over-exposed and full of hot spots, but you have balanced your whites fabulously, bravo! The sky is not very corroborative - I love the pinkish tones of the setting sun towards the left border, but the bright areas in the center strike the eye. In situations like that I love to take a series of differently exposed images and merge them into a HDR; that never fails! I think I'd also like to see a bit less of the river and more of the waterfall/the mist...
Ahh, now I've made so many 'complaints' when this is of course a fantastic image!! :) Best of luck in the contest!

This is one of the best photos I've seen of Niagara Falls. Love the way you caught the blue in the water. Definitely, I see the power of the falls here in the spray of the water. You can see the unity of the water but how it separates to cascade down the falls! It's attractive but I still wouldn't want to go over the falls in a barrel!

This is an award-winning photo. Perfect composition. Great lighting. Beautiful colors. You can feel the mist of the rushing falls. It all comes together to create a spectacular photo.

The center of interest in this photo is of the falls and I believe should have been made more prominent by leaving out a little more of the river leading to it. Other than that the image is sharp and the colour is very nice

I have been there. Seeing this photo I can still feel the power of the water crashing to the rocks below. This is a difficult scene to capture. Good composition to see the rush of the river and the power of the falls. Well done!

great initial impact, I like the angle you have used which draws the eye around into the scene, good capture of the falls and the spray you really sense the power of the water, I like the buildings in the back ground which add perspective, the sky is a little dull, but still a lovely photograph. good luck in the contest.

An impressive image showing the power / energy of this waterfall
The only recommendation I can make is to crop off the most of the sky (to the top of the trees) as it's bright and featureless, and tends to draw the eyes to it

Oh boy...the power of water....so evident in your photo. Looks like you stood in a perfect spot....showing not only the shape of the falls but the breadth of the river- that house WAY over there looks mighty tiny in comparison.

Good for you for going back out at dusk....one of my favorite times of day to photograph. It was well worth your effort for the colors you captured in the water, sky and falls are perfect!
