This is a curious coincidence. I was just reviewing some photos on another site (PetaPixels I think it was) and this exact image was up. Same spot.

The only difference was:

1. The photographer shot it at night which eliminated that white sky, the shoreline was dotted with reddish lights, the exposure was long so the falls were milky smooth, the lights that shine on the falls reddened them to an unearthly hue.

My only suggestion to this great photograph would be for you to shoot it again during Golden Hours of Photography and then the sky would be kinder to the image.

Great shot....my "home"...you are making me homesick.

Thanks for your detailed reply and personal thoughts! Sorry if I caused a spasm of homesickness. You make a great suggestion about revisiting and shooting again. Would love to do this but its unlikely that I will return to this location any time soon!

I know these falls very well. This is a beautiful shot. I love the hues of this. The different shades of blue. Great capture of the mist and showing the depth. The greenery in the back on this is fantastic. Great composition.

A handsome shot over the edge with genuine color saturation - good close up , very good focus showing the fine details of the small waves in perfection

good angle and position, your picture is well framed , well balanced and well composed

concern: landscape contests normally have more land as water and the topic is waterfall with just few landscape at the horizon - hope it goes well - thanks for sahring
