Quite a little gathering you have there. I especially like the swamp hen as they don't make it up to my part of the world and they are beautifully colored. I shoot RAW and can make white balance as well as all the tonal adjustments after the exposure.

Thanks Mike was shooting raw but in aperture mode so decided to challenge myself a bit more ;-)

What a neat bird. Look at those feet! Great catch of him walking. I have to say maybe you could use more light to bring out some detail. Otherwise, very nice indeed.

Way cool photo,, I do like that you can see very clearly the claw of the purple swamphens. Good job on the kelvin scale. :) to the best of my knowledge you are the 2nd person I have "met" that has tried or uses it. Focus is good, DOF, is nice. Love the clarity of the water to be able show that claw. Thanks for sharing

Thanks again Kelly. Sange and Eleanor both use Kelvin scale but my old camera didn't have the option. So thought I would give it a go with the new camera. :) Mary
