Whatever this is it's a great capture. Great detail and focus. The right eye especially is nice and kind of creepy. Nice angle from the top and excellent bokeh to keep your attention on the subject.

Hi Mary!
While I have no idea as to what this creature's Species I.D. might be I'm certainly enjoying this colorful photographic capture of it that you've presented us with!
Good Show,my friend!

Around here they are known as "skippers". It is a very good shot that clearly shows the relative size of their eyes. Great colors and fine composition.

Beautiful close up shot of a moth. Angle and looking down perspective are cool. Depth of field is well defined to enhance the beauty of the moth. Thevimage is clear and clean.
Well done and thanks for sharing.

What a wonderful shot of this small and fast moth, Very good details and depth and like the background really set the colors of the wing off. Thank you for sharing. dale

Very nice supporting blur background
nice focus on the butterfly, but the brightness is too high and this is why I took half a star out
thanks for sharing

I'm sure Fred does!
A nice close up capture of this cute moth.
Creative concept. Innovative approach. Imaginative presentation. Verdant blurry backdrop lends a soothing backdrop.
Thanks for sharing...
