A beautiful beast and a great shot. I like her coloration that just glows in the sun. Excellent detail in her face with great eyes. I like the composition and the very nice setting.

Puspa is fascinating with her wonderful coat. Maybe a little shy but still seems to have a pretty face. Wonderful clear colors and the greeneries surrounding her enhances her beautiful color. Very well centered, details and shadowed to perfection. Amazing photo and eye viewer.
Thanks for showing.
Congratulations, Good Luck and have yourself a great day!.

This is a fine shot of this magnificent ape! She definitely deserves here full and central composition. You have coped well with the tricky bright lighting conditions giving us an image with lots of detail to enjoy because its sharp and well exposed. Fine work!

I nice photo of the orangutan good color, would of like to of seen
more action in the ape or try and make him look up so to see his face otherwise it would of been a good photo try and get some one hold something and wave it makes them look up.

Mary,
A stunning picture of Puspa wandering out in the sunshine that is showing of the gleam on her beautiful ginger coloured coat that looks as if she had spent hours grooming it. She is a beautiful animal. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Thanks Susan, so glad I kept going back as she normally likes to hide under blanket or behind the large leaves you can see behind. :)

Any other shot with his face being illuminated?
A white board bounced illumination can solve this problem.
Natural surrounding with palms & shaded areas.
Thanks for sharing...

Thanks for suggestion Dick although he was a good 12m away from her so not sure it would work - did get a couple when she settled down sitting on grass. :)

A nice shot, Mary! Light and shadow are cool. It Is not only about orangutan but also how artistic and beautiful the orangutan's look is by applying light and shadow.

Well done and thanks for sharing.
