This is a fantastic setting. The soft light gives you beautiful colors and the umbrella could not be better. I might consider rotating it counterclockwise a bit to straighten the trees a little.

What I thought right away was "what a lovely composition". I really enjoy the anglessssss.... to the hill side, the tree trucks, the umbrella and of course your grandson's cute little pose. His placement in the frame is perfection. Beautiful color over the frame with just ... lighting perfection. Wonderful image. Thanks for sharing.

Mary, in our photo club we have a Nat. Geographic photographer who did a shoot in Korea then shared his images with us. It's about the tilt. YES tilt it, but make us recognize that you meant it.....our member really tilts it out of the box and it works. I think this would work with even a greater tilt but here you have a shy tilt that lacks confidence so it confuses our eyes.

The techs are very well done and the colours are artistic and soothing.

A cute & candid capture!!
An interesting initial impact.
However, the opposing tilt of the trunk & umbrella is quite disturbing.
The weight is overpowering on that side with all the compositional elements and nothing on the right foreground.
Subtle illumination.

yes, children do like to go with umbrellas and they do not need the rain to do so
