This is a very nice drawing, I love everything about it. I especially like the way you drew her hair, that form is excellent. The facial features are done perfect, not to mention the detail in her dress. The background is excellent as well. Great job

Excellent use of the various media by keeping the color gradations consistent. The dark to light transitions are seamless, and the many different shadings render this a great work of art. Great portrait and use of soft shadows.

I like so much when you are drawing people from another time. They indeed knew what romance was in these days, and women at that age were probably also innocent compared to what they are today.
Of course you have drawn the dress and the hat well, and have brought out fine textures in both. Still I think it is the face you have done the best showing such expressive eyes and the dreamy smile.
The contrast between shadows and light is exquisite, and of course also everything is done paying very good attention to details.
I also like the tight framing and the placement of the woman. It is a very good balance between positive and negative space. Indeed a beautiful and well done drawing Linda, and I wish you luck with the contest.
