Great color balance with the pink hues in the foreground and the green hues in the background. The naturally dark background helps frame the flower even more, making it more vivid. A beautiful photo of something so small and simple in nature but showing the intricacies of it woven together so splendidly.

nicely shot! Focus is spot on, Colors are brilliant, contrast is excellent. Crop is a little tight, but it allows you to show those wonderful textures. So nice job!

A precious tulip, with petals lifted toward Heaven in worship of it's Creator. The dark background is perfect to make the beautiful pick of the flower jump off the page.

Yes. I also like the texture and "feel" of the petals in this scene. The water droplets (even if added with a spray bottle0 work wonderfully to give it that depth and naturalness. Background is perfect contrast to the main subject. Nicely done Fred ~ Steve

Whether you are in Holland, the country verse Holland the city in Michigan, tulips are king this week. The tight crop and good lighting pop the petals perfectly. The DOF shows off the textures of the flowers.

Beautiful bloom, this shot is proof of the beauty of simplicity - excellent composition, perfect DOF, contrast and lighting, hyper clear and sharp into fine textures - I think the pink white is excellent in exposure
your angle adds some curiosity letting us just have a short look to the inside-- a nicely framed flower picture I specially love that it is not cropped so close around the bloom like many do it her - you give the bloom space and Rom and that is great, thanks for sharing
