Fred,
A beautiful picture of this Pink & White Tulip the sun shining down on it shining out from it's dark background. The petals "spine" is white, beyond the spine towards the edges the pink colour gets deeper. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I also like the petal texture, you have caught it well, it is nicely contrasted and is sharp with natural saturation that is reminiscent of bubble gum.

The compositional style is your own however an even negative margin would tighten the presentation and would increase the size thus engaging us further.
