Oh my husband and I say the same thing when we see sights like this "she was once sought after, she was once beautiful, she was once loved, she was someone's beloved child, she too had dreams....just like us". There but for the Grace of God....go I.

I like how you have included the whole street scene, you really get the feel that she is lost in an ocean of people who have forgotten her, except for that one man standing.

Your point of view could be better because with this POV it looks like you quickly shot this shot , as if feeling guilty for having done so.

Yes. You are dead right. I was anxious about the people getting touchy and creating problems. Happens sometimes. I took this shot from the other side of the road. I appreciate your nice review. Thank you so much for your support. Glad you liked it.

I understand about people getting touchy about photos. So, here we are in Vietnam. I am in the market taking pictures of artichoke....ARTICHOKE for the love of God. The vendor comes at me with half a pail of water , ready to throw on my camera telling me I can't photograph his artichokes. WTF?

Sounds like a joke "unable to photograph his artichokes, ay?"

This is a well captured candid journalistic image that tells a story. The bright red in the skirt and blanket direct our eyes to the main focal point / intent of the image. Nice composition and well thought through in both technical and artistic element.
