Good spot for a duster movie. lol Drove through Arizona a couple of times. Lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico for a bit about 40 yrs ago. lol Found a cast iron bean pot and still have it. Looks like the very same as it was.
good shot and love the title

It is a nice capture and the lone car on the road gives us a great sense of scale. You have nice focus and clarity Nik, but your sky is too bright and a bit over exposed.
In camera I would have set white balance manually not using auto and exposure compensation needed to be at _1.0 or more to avoid the brightness.
If You shot this with the Nikon D600 Kelvin Scale works best with this camera.
Nice capture but exposure and white balance need some work.

Hey Nik..that was to read minus 1.0 on exposure compensation the plus and minus dial near shutter on top of camera. ;)

Indeed it looks very lonely, but the view is impressive also. The viewer feels dwarfed by the mightiness of nature. This impression is intensified by the tiny looking car. Time and climate seem the ultimate artist. You photo shows the harshness and the beauty of this landscape. The earthen colors are realistic for a desert landscape, but the sky seems a bit faded. I think you could try to adjust the mid tones of the sky separately from the landscape so that the clouds are better visible. I believe some visible clouds would emphasize the landscape and make it even more interesting.

Where is the next restroom? I can't squat. It does look very lonely. I remember driving through the bad lands in South Dakota and getting the same feeling. The only thing that could make it better would be a bright blue sky. Excellent perspective.

How lonely that poor car is overshadowed by the towering edifice to his left. Great shot. Definitely deserves to be an All Time Best. Great composition, framing, focus and dof. Thanks for sharing.

Great overall landscape photo. It definitely shows the beauty in the area you're in! Great composition. One thing I might suggest is having the blacks a little bit more pronounced so that the overall contrast is just a tad higher for the image to pop more.

been years since i have been out there. the clarity is great. the angle of the sho9t of the western terrain with car on dirt road is great.the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

we used to go as a family in the stationwagon and drive this reminds me of those times, the landscape is desolate with such beauty etched by years of rain and wind, great job
