A great shot showing the wonder of Nature and how small mankind's achievements are when measured alongside it. Great commposition and story telling with that hugh buttress well positioned. Excellent depth and the mixture of scrub and varying rock formations well focused and detailed. Interesting work - Ronnie

An interesting photo with a road leading the eye to the midway section of the piece. The name of the photo really tells the story.
The sky being almost white
does not enhance the photo though. I imagine that there are a lot of other colors in the rocks that are not showing up in this photo.

Looking at that tiny car, just a speck in the desert, gives the vaguest inkling of man's place in the universe. Still, it looks like a a wonderful place even if we're just an insignificant part of it.

This took a ton of work. It is excellent. When I used to do book tours through the American SW we saw things like this. I photographed some but never got a perspective like you have here. Truly excellent.

Wow, Desolate landscape. All of the formations that make up this photo. Your composition is spot on. What makes it real is the car on the road. This is a six if I had one.

I like the placement of the horizon line and the complimentary warm color scheme of the grasslands, mountains and the road.

Perfect photo shot. Colors, exposure, lighting and tone are amazing. As a viewer, I can see myself driving down the road to this monument and enjoying the beautiful view.

Nice composition, like your use of 1/3, You may have touched up the sky a bit while in photo shop must have been a cloudy day or hazy. I like the composition the car and the story.

a beautifully structured photograph capturing the dusty hues of the desert, I don't even think it needs the car in the picture as although it helps define the scale of the monumental landscape. I particularly like how the sky is lightened as it helps accentuate the monument and sky line. Great photo.

Amazing composition! You have balanced all your elements well - the eye of the viewer is onvited to circle around, enjoying every little detail of your photo. The car is an interesting addition; on one hand it looks like some misplaced object that has landed on another planet by mistake; and on the other hand, it gives us the sense of vastness - the rocks look absolutely massive compared to that little vehicle. Good clarity and depth of field, pleasantly warm tones, fine exposure. The only thing I dislike is the photo-unfriendly white sky. Have you tried adjusting highlights in Photoshop or whichever software are you using? If you manage to bring out some drama in the sky, this would have been an award-winning image! :)

Your very in-depth and detailed review is very much appreciated as are your suggestions. No, I have not yet tried to do anything about the sky but I will now!
