i like the idea of oils on wood and intend to experiment myself in the future on wooden palettes,meanwhile you have captured this figure beautifully with the great use of chiaroscuro effects with a beautiful deep fiery red that brings this picture alive and at first i thought it was a character from the moulin rouge . Nice work

Interesting painting. Like the colors, brush strokes and creativity. As a viewer and artist, I see a woman rising up with the Phoenix. The bird and her are one together and the red colors represent what the Phoenix will bring.
