Love this photo and the meaning behind it. Perfect framing and the slight vignette adds a nice effect. Great timing with Memorial Day, but we need to remember these people every day and this piece helps a lot. Thanks for posting!

Very emotional photo especially around Memorial Day. God Bless those who have given their lives so that me and my family have freedom. Fantastic image of the older gentleman looking tired and warn while you are showing the next generation of solders with the younger fella. Great Photo. God Bless America.

Jack - this is such an emotional capture that truly touches one heart and encourages time for reflection and gratitude to all our women and men who have or are serving our country. Well done both technically and compositionally. Kathy

A fine sentimental and emotional capture. The picture having the young and the old in its frame tells a story. ! You have framed it well. The light, colour and the composition have worked well. Thanks for sharing!

I had a student I taught in 5th grade that went on to join the Army. He lost his life in Afghanistan. We are a Pre-K-12 school all in one building so I had the pleasure of watching my students grow up. When they brought his body back home they hearse drove past our school. All of the students stood out front in silence as he passed by. I suppose your picture has really touched me, enough to share this story. All other technical elements are excellent. God bless our military.

Thanks to all who served or gave their life for our great country. Just today I read that War Memorials were defaced in 3 states. So sad that our country has cowards that does not like our way of living. Our government would rather give our money to countries that hate us. My Dad and Father in law served in WW2. My nephew served in the Navy. I have many other friend and relatives the same as you who served. and this is the thanks they get. Defacing a Memorial to them. Than we have people who come her illegally and demand government services. They want their own laws in cities. I am sorry that I am rambling on. Have a good holiday. Thanks to all who served.

I really appreciate your review and all that I can say is you are right and it also shows that they don't care about the one who has died for their freedom. Thank you for your concern and I know there are people out there that really care what happens to our veterans like you do. A friend always. JackJr.
