I like the abandoned look and feel this conveys with a vanishing like perspective down the curved tracks.
You have nice clarity and unique de-saturated colors. I would have done this in black and white or a vintage sepia , but that is of course me not you.
I am on the fence about the muted green/yellow hue, but I leave that to the artist. so Nice job on camera techs.

Thank you. I like your suggestion about B/W or Sepia. Might try that in the future.

Interesting photo! I love the effect the filter adds to this photo, and the tracks leading the eye into the distance. Lighting and composition are great. Good luck in the contest!

I really like the black and white photo which to me looks like something from back in time, this really works well with this railroad track and the grass which shows that this doesn't look like it is being used anymore. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing. JackJr.

Nice composition of this unused railroad track. Excellent clarity, lighting, and color. Good post production work and I like the de-saturation of color. It adds to the sense of abandonment and of not being used. A well taken photo with an excellent DOF. Well done and good luck in the contest. ~Alveria

I love captured images like this were nature has reclaimed the lands that mankind once claimed. There is a beauty in the quite of it all. I also like how the track leads the eye forward with expectation.

Some times the best pictures are in our backyard. The leading lines of the track take our eye on an endless journey to place far away. The stories these rails could tell would fascinating. The semi b/w tones of the scene give an aging process that takes us back in time. Great shot.

I love everything about this photo! I really like how you did it in black and white, I think that really adds to the dramatic effect. I also really like how it looks like you kneeled down to take this picture and actually took your time to focus on what you wanted to capture instead of just standing up and taking a quick picture. This is an excellent photo!

I like the use of color, the hint of green gives us some reference to the foliage and the contrasting steel rails, good perspective and the initial impact is one of disuse and neglect great job

An enjoyable photograph! Love angle and placement of the rail in the frame. It is inviting. As if I were walking on the rail.

The image is clear. Well done and thanks for sharing.
