Thank you for your honest reply. I did not now that something could be too minimalist. I thought being as minimal and simple as possible is the reason for the minimalist-art movement and that it is basic of the minimalist style. Am I wrong?

Ah, the black background. This is my forte'. I use it most often, and find that no matter what your subject is, this background adds dimension and drama. The simplicity of your red apple makes this combination exquisite. Both the black and the red lending to the whole amazing affect.

Awesome painting.
Blackboard for red apple is luxurious. Apple very bright and well done. Centered, detailed and shadowed properly. Little green leaves with stem on top very nice and appealing. Bottom well done also. Centered, shadowed and detailed properly. Fantastic painting and eye viewer.
