I was really touched by your notes Linda, and almost got tears in my eyes. The baby girl looks so happy, and she has the sweetest smile. What a great tribute to this little hero, and what a fine gift to give to her parents. I really hope she is not only a hero, but also a survivor.

You have of course drawn her in a lovely way, and with good attention to even the smallest details as always. I do however think it is the way you have used the light doing this drawing more than anything. The little sweetheart is really shining.

I also like the tightness of your framing and the good balance between positive and negative space. As always you have created a beautiful drawing, and I am so sorry I have run out of 6 stars ratings.

As always, your reviews are so informative, and I believe that you encourage all of us here at Fan Art. I want to thank you for your detailed and heart warming review. Good news about Kaelyn; her mother posted on instagram that the tumor is gone. Wow, isn't that amazing?

It is indeed amazing and a true miracle. A little angel like this deserves to grow up, and I am sure her parents are very, very happy. Thanks a lot for your kind words about my reviewing. I am touched. You are of course also more than welcome for the review.

This is so life-like. She is an adorable, precious baby!! You caught her expression very well. The details are spectacular. Love the way she is grabbing her foot. Her pudgy, cute hands are so real! Good luck in the contest--I bet the parents love the portrait!!

Thank you Galia. It is very hard drawing babies. I do appreciate your warm, and kind review.

Wow! This is such a beautiful drawing. The details are amazing and the drawing looks so realistic. That is such a sad story though. With God's help, I hope she lives through. I hate hearing stories of little babies like this little girl dying over cancer. It is so heart braking. My heart and prayers go out to this little girl, and I am sure the parents will love this drawing. Thanks for sharing :)

this defiantly deserves a six in my mind. not just because of the touching her rendering, sensitive subject but the way you have transferred such a subject onto board and captured the expression of this child and the soft tones with great chiaroscuro effects ..it is truly a brilliant art work..

An excellent creation with a noble intention!
Defined facial features & candid expression.
Etched in her innocent countenance is a spirit of a bubbly baby who refuse to let her ailment dampen her spirit.
May God give her a longer life free of pain. Her angelic aura is a sight to behold.
An impressive artwork rendition. Sepia creation with excellent strokes & textures.
My friend, please render this in real black & white as I'm afraid the photo police might DQ this!
Good compositional style. Great overall impact! Thanks for sharing...
Best of luck in the contest!
Impressive entry. Potential voters choice...

This is lovely. Beautiful sketch, intersting angle. The skin looks amazing and the scarf over her head too. I like the soft feel of this. It gives it a kind of vintage or old fashioned feel.
