What a beautiful entry this is for this contest. This is just a stunning looking Iris, and the small droplets add both interest and beauty. I also think the dark green color you have picked as a background suits the delicate colors of the flower, and it is standing out from it in the most excellent way.

Your photo is also pin sharp showing really clear and well defined details in every part of the flower, and the exposure is perfect.

The photo is also nicely cropped, and the flower has got a very fine placement within the frame. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest. This one should do well.

This is so beautiful! Iris's come in so many different colors and this one is gorgeous. Really like the angle that you took this photo so that you got the inside of this delicate flower. Also, like the blacked out background. Great job! Thank you for sharing and good luck in the contest.
