Well,I've seen instances of 'shoe hanging' like this around my area too and,while I have no idea what such a practice might mean or who might be responsible for it,your photo of it here is interesting,amusing,and lots of fun to see! : )

The image is sharply focused on the subject with the background blurred, which makes the subject pops out. However, the background is still a bit distracting and perhaps the photographer could have tried a shot from directly underneath. Artist could have cropped the photo to portrait shape for better composition.

It pays to look up once in while. Great photo opportunity with great results. The danger factor is high and I hope this was intentional rather than a bully picking on someone. The victim may give thought to retrieving them. Good contrast and sharp focus against the blurred background gives us a sharp looking story line.

Yes, this is surely an intentional joke, because I saw at least two pairs hanging on different streets. Kids nowadays are a little bit crazy. Thanks for the great review.
