The brilliance that you have captured with your lens, the bright fall colors of the leaves, is amazing. It conjures up memories of childhood, when we would jump and roll, playing in the leaves. Great work.

Mmmm this is a gorgeous waterfall of autumnal colours.
I think the fill the frame with colour was the way to go and the shapr and well focused patterns of the leaves are punchy making this a rather exciting visual image....in reds and yellows. Clearly, you have an artistic bend with this upload.
I also like the vignette for that holds our eyes steadily within the upload and you want to encourage that "linger longer Lucy" effect and through vignette you have succeeded. To my eyes, the vignette could be more subtle to seduce...... your vignette tends to grab ....that is of course a very personal opinion on my part.
Your exposure is well handled and we can see the light source yet you managed to expose the photograph correctly with no blow outs and that was difficult to do because yellow and reds blow out so easily in photography. Well done.
The contrast is also giving depth, and there is a soft green whisper of background to tell us more of the story of this image.
Your subject matter is purposeful, well thought out, nicely presented and you get full marks from me!

I LOVE the Maple trees that turn really red. Always disappointing w/ weather keeps the fall colors from being their brightest.
But you did find some very red ones. Good job. Nicely composed photo w/ good color and focus. Perfect for the contest so best of luck to you.
