It is a long time that I got any reviewing done, but I see it is high time to check in at your portfolio again. You have some gorgeous new mixed medias including this one. I admire how you apply your filters and combine your layers that the subject looks still completely natural, but that it is also clear for the viewer that the piece is a mixed media. I like that you left the older yellow leaves of the pomegranate in your creation. That gives it authenticity. Your original capture was well focused and the colors look very natural while being beautiful also. I like how you have placed the fruits in a diagonal and how you layered on the background of other photos of the same tree. It looks very skilfully and professional done. It is said, three are a charm. The charm worked. It brought you the deserved win of the contest. Congratulations!

A beautiful presentation - clear and sharp with a good balance between burred zone and main subjects
It is perfect in DOF, contrast and lighting
Somehow I feel that it would be even better when the upper fruit would be completely inside the space as these three are so beautifully sitting in one diagonal line
A nice contest entry, all the best of luck

I love pomegranates! Just hate opening them.
I love the soft blur/opacity of the lower left and the sharp focus on these three beauties hanging from the tree. Your filter adds that soft painterly look that makes this so beautiful.
Very nice camera techs and fine enhancements made with filters.
Well done!

This close up and personal photo makes me want to pluck the lush bright red scarlet fruit right off the bush and taste it right there. I would enjoy having this photo on the wall in my kitchen. Looking at the bright happiness it displays would be a good way to start the day.

An artful composition! The flexible, waxy leaves and green background make a nice contrast to the hard, smooth fruit. I've never seen pomegranates grow. Your excellent photo makes me want to see the real thing!

We simply call this pomegranate...
An interesting initial impact.
Aptly captured for the contest theme...
Natural colors.
Great contrast.
Is anything distracting above the top fruit? Better if you didn't crop it a bit. Or just crop the marginal negative space below to balance the compact framing.
Nice diagonal framing.
Thanks for sharing...
Best of luck in the contest!

Well done! The lighting in this photo is excellent. Your focus and framing are good as well. I also like how you have an odd number of these showing in the photo, it adds more interest. You did a wonderful job :) Thanks for sharing and I hope you are having a wonderful weekend :)
