Very beautiful. True glamour that is rarely seen in today's world. She looks so happy in this photo. I've tried to do portraits before with little luck. I almost thought this was a photo, but knowing the artist, I knew it was another amazing graphite piece. :) Love the contrast and values in this drawing, making it seem like a Polaroid photo. Photo-realistic accuracy is achieved with the expression on her face and the texture in her hair. Good luck in the contest- this is definitely a winner!

This is for sure an excellent entry for this contest, and will be hard to beat. Ava was indeed a glamorous lady, and I bet younger people don't even know about her. I remember her from a lot of films when I was young.
Usually your drawings are so perfect that it is nothing to really comment on, but this time I think that more shadows in the face would have been nice. Compared to the fine shadings and tones on her body, the face looks very white. Still this is a minor issue when you look at the excellent quality of this portrait.
As always with paying good attention even to the smallest details, and also with fine distinctions between dark and light. I think especially the eyes are really well done this time, and also how well the textures of the hair is brought out.
Then the composition is very strong with a well framed drawing and a good placement of AVA within the frame. Another truly excellent drawing Linda, and I wish you luck with the contest.
